Ifmec is a center of knowledge in the field of Facility & Enabling management. Facility Management brings people, work and the work environment together. The right facility organization ensures the quality of life of people and the productivity of the core business. Facility Management is at the center of an increasingly dynamic and complex market and society. From this perspective, Ifmec contributes to the development of Facility & Enabling Management.
Ifmec was founded in 1994 by Leo Laanen. In current business operations, Ifmec consists of five different Ltd’s. In total thirty highly educated professionals are constantly developing the field of Facility Management. This is done by means of the Ifmec Academy (Postgraduate, MSc. and EMBA) and the Research & Innovation program with an annual research agenda and events. Besides this, Ifmec developed a Young Professional program for recent excellent graduated students, who can be deployed for a wide range of facility issues. In addition, Ifmec Consultants and Interim Managers can provide advice, support and fill in temporary facility functions.
Ifmec professionals consist of Young Professionals, Consultants and Interim Managers. They work for different clients in various sectors within the facility work field. With their expertise, enthusiasm and passion for FM, they are happy to help your organization.
The Ifmec Academy offers the highest ranked training courses for FM professionals in the Netherlands. They are accredited abroad and lead to an internationally recognized diploma. Within the Ifmec Academy there is the possibility to study a Postgraduate Facility Management, MSc. Facility Management or Executive MBA Enabling Management.
Ifmec has its own research agency and research agenda for more than twenty years. The research results create new innovations that are implemented by the Young Professionals and Consultants of Ifmec at external clients. Moreover, with this agency, Ifmec Research & Innovation is of added value to the Facility Management market.
